Getting Started with PassNow: A Beginner's Guide

Welcome to PassNow! Whether you're a student looking to study more efficiently or simply curious about AI-powered learning tools, this guide will help you get started quickly and effectively.

Step 1: Create Your Account

First, you'll need a PassNow account. Here's how:

1. Visit passnow.app and click "Get Started"
2. Enter your email address and create a strong password
3. Check your email for a verification link
4. Click the link to activate your account

Step 2: Download the Extension

PassNow works as a Chrome browser extension. To install it:

1. Log into your PassNow account
2. Go to your Dashboard
3. Click "Download Extension"
4. Extract the downloaded ZIP file
5. Open Chrome and go to chrome://extensions
6. Enable "Developer mode" in the top right
7. Click "Load unpacked" and select the extracted folder

The PassNow icon should now appear in your browser toolbar!

Step 3: Solve Your First Question

Now for the exciting part. Here's how to solve a quiz question:

1. Navigate to any online quiz (Moodle, Google Forms, etc.)
2. Find a question you want to solve
3. Press Alt+X on your keyboard
4. A selection overlay will appear - drag to select the question area
5. Include the question text and all answer options
6. Release the mouse button
7. Wait 2-3 seconds for the AI to analyze
8. Read the answer and explanation!

Tips for Best Results

To get the most accurate answers:

• Include all options - For multiple choice, select all answer choices
• Include images - If the question has diagrams, include them in your selection
• Good lighting - Ensure your screen is clearly visible (not too bright or dark)
• Full context - Include any relevant information around the question

Understanding Your Answer

Each PassNow response includes:

• The Answer - Clearly marked as correct
• Explanation - Why this answer is correct
• Confidence - How certain the AI is (usually 95%+)

Don't just look at the answer - read the explanation to actually learn the material!

Managing Your Credits

Each question uses 1 credit. You can:

• Check your balance by clicking the extension icon
• View detailed usage in your Dashboard
